Traders use technical analysis to find optimal market entry points. However, no technical approach provides reliable signals with 100% accuracy — in part because indicators react to market changes with a slight delay. For this reason, traders often combine multiple tools when trading binary options.

One effective approach to trading digital contracts is combining three popular indicators: SMA (Simple Moving Average), RSI (Relative Strength Index), and MACD (Moving Average Convergence/Divergence).

How the Trading Method Works on Quotex

All three indicators are used with their default settings:

1. SMA 10;
2. Relative Strength Index 14;
3. MACD 12, 26, 9.

One adjustment is required in the RSI settings: set the midline value to 50.

Unlike many other Quotex strategies, this approach treats the RSI as the primary signal indicator, with SMA and MACD serving as confirmation tools. The trader monitors the RSI and waits for it to cross the midline (level 50).

The SMA shows whether the average price is rising or falling over a given time period. MACD helps identify the optimal moment to place an order and filters out market noise and false signals from the other indicators.

For best results, all three indicators should be active simultaneously with the platform's default settings.

Conditions for Opening a Call Option

A Call option entry signal requires all three indicators to meet specific conditions at the same time. Open a Call contract when:

• the RSI line crosses level 50 from below;
• the price chart is above the SMA 10 line;
• the MACD lines cross each other below the zero level.

When all three conditions are met, open a Call option at the start of the next candle:

Conditions for Opening a Put Option

A Put option is opened in the opposite situation. Enter when the MACD lines cross each other and the RSI crosses level 50 from above, moving downward. The price of the selected asset must also be below the SMA 10 line. When all conditions are met, place the order after the following candlestick pattern forms:

This strategy stands out for its reliability, which comes from combining three indicators that each produce strong, independent signals. The trade-off is that all three conditions must align simultaneously, which does not happen frequently — meaning trades are placed selectively rather than often.

Note that the RSI must actually cross level 50, and the MACD lines must actually cross each other. Trades should not be opened when the indicators are merely approaching these thresholds — a confirmed crossover is required.
