Installing the M5 Scalping Indicators in MT4
The indicators are installed using the standard procedure for MetaTrader 4. For full installation instructions, watch our video:
Most of the indicators in this strategy have minimal settings. The levels indicator is the exception — it offers flexible configuration, both visually and technically. Various formulas for constructing levels can be selected in the settings:

Feel free to experiment with the different level-building methods to find the configuration that works best for your trading.
How the M5 Scalping Strategy Works
This strategy is fundamentally level-based. Identifying and following the trend is secondary here, since the best trade opportunities arise at levels regardless of the prevailing price direction (bullish or bearish).
The levels are colour-coded, but regardless of colour, each level can support both Call and Put option entries:

The trading rules are straightforward. To buy a Call option, all three of the following conditions must be met:
- A signal appears on the chart (white arrow pointing up).
- Price is at or near a level.
- Both sub-chart indicators are blue.
To buy a Put option:
- A signal appears on the chart (white arrow pointing down).
- Price is at or near a level.
- Both sub-chart indicators are red.
Note that proximity to a level is not strictly required. When trading away from a level, it is more reliable to base entries on trend direction only:

In this case, expiration should be no more than two candles — especially when a level is nearby.
Trade Examples
The examples below show level-based trading on the M5 timeframe using the AUD/USD pair.
Opening a Call Option
Call options can be purchased when a signal appears near a level:

Note that arrows appear after the candle closes, so a reasonably quick reaction is sometimes needed.
Opening a Put Option
Put options follow the same principle:

In this example, only one of the trades shown would have been profitable.
Conclusion
The M5 Scalping strategy will appeal most to traders who prefer level-based trading. Beginners can also use this strategy effectively — even without levels — provided they identify the trend direction and trade with it.
Sound money management and risk management improve results with any strategy or indicator and should always be applied consistently.
